Every time I update or install a new module my portal stops working. I have to log into the server and manually recycle my application pool to get it going again. It started doing this after upgrading to 5.0.1 and is no better after the latest upgrade.

usually the app would be recycled after one of the code files changed - please check recycling settings.

Which OS/IIS version are you using?

Sorry for the delay. Didn't get a notification of the reply.

I'm using Windows Server 03 and IIS 6. The recycle settings are set to the default. Sometimes I have to go in and stop/start the app to get it going.
