From reading online it looks like Authorize.NET should be a default payment processor for DotNetNuke.  I recently installed version 5.1 and I only have the option to select Paypal and I don't see anywhere where additional payment processor can be downloaded/installed.  Has anyone else run into this issue?

Can you post some links where you have read that Authorzie.Net should be the default payment processor for DNN?

Shawn,

Here is a link from the dotnetnuke.com help section that shows that we should be able to use a long list of payment processors for the portal and subscriptions/memberships, but currently only paypal shows.  How do we add the others?

Thanks

Ethan

Well I'll be.. sure enough it's shown there, but I can't seem to find anything regarding adding other Payment Systems in, I do see some mention of the DNN Store module having several processors, perhaps that needs to be installed to get acess to the other options. I have a dummy site I'm going to test this on just out of curiosity.

The list of providers on the other end of that URL is from the late v3 / early v4 era.

The store does handle both Authorize.Net and PayPal, but that has no effect on what the core offers in support of site registration payment.

The WROX book Professional DNN4 indicates that there WILL be a "more robust eCommerce API" forthcoming, yet WROX Professional DNN5 offers less of a commitment.

eCommerce is a hot (and sore) topic with DNN, just ask AspDotNetStorefront.

But, I think the sky is brightenoing on all fronts, not the least of which is having a solid audit capability built into DNN5.
