I am trying to install DNN 4.3.4. I have notified my hosting server and they've readyied my account to accept DNN.I've got MS SQL 2000,default.aspx as a default doc and relevant website permissions activated. Below I detail the main part of the code. I renamed the original development.config file to web.config(as the documentation.pdf advised it as my host only accepts medium trust). I deleted the original web.config and release.config. I deleted the connection strings for SQL Express 2005 as these were not relevant. Custom errors I set to off(in anticipation of an error!) There didn't seem to be any of these errors going on in your forums so I created a new thread. Tim. == == == == == My code:- == == == == == The result:- Server Error in '/' Application. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Configuration Error Description: An error occurred during the processing of a configuration file required to service this request. It appears of course that your problem is with your web.config file. It's hard to tell any specifics because the line numbers are probably different in my file. The installation guide does say to rename development.config vice release.config for medium trust. I have always used the supplied web.config with no problems. It appears to me that all configs have a medium trust level associated but I might have just missed something.

Have you tried using the supplied web.config file? There may be something in the development.config file your installation just doesn't like. If you are getting a similar error I would post the the lines causing the error messages so that others may be able to debug your problem better.
