Configuration Error

Description: An error occurred during the processing of a configuration file required to service this request. Please review the specific error details below and modify your configuration file appropriately.

Parser Error Message: It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level. This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS.

Howdy all!
This is an error I get when I try to run DNN. I already set up my web.config file correctly (at least I hope I did), but it keeps showing me this message.

Anyone knows what could be wrong?

Do you have configuered the directory "portal" as application inside IIS?

when you create virtual directory. In step Virtual Directory Access Permissions Check "Run scripts(such as ASP)" and Execute(such as ISAPI applications or CGI)
