The home of SQL Server 2008 holds all the answers to your questions. All you have to do is; take your time and you will find the answers you need. Here is the link: http://www.microsoft.com/sqlserver/2008/en/us/default.aspx

Additional:

You most likely have to install the following upgrades, in this order:

This completed download the version of SQL Express you want: Link is below:

NOTE: Avoid the mistake of clicking on the first ‘download’ link before you read the whole page and all associated information.

You may encounter further hurdles before you obtain a clean install. I suggest you read the error messages and search the web to find your answers.

I have recently installed/upgraded SQL Server 2008 onto a MS Server 2003/SQL 2005 platform - then decided this is not the correct set up for my needs.

So I DBAN'd my server and are in the final stages of completing an install of: Windows Server 2008, SQL Server 2008, and DNN 4.9. It takes time. Still not there yet – having problems with SQL08 and DNN 49 not talking to each other.

I think I will send a ripple through the force to see if I can find the answer to the conflicts.

Good luck.

Tripytaka.
