I cannot find anywhere in the documentation on how to use DNN with MS Access or MySql.  We are very poor and cannot afford a SQL Server database.  Any help will be appreciated.

You don't.  You must use some version of SQL Server.

For the very poor there is a free version of SQL Server.  Look for a download on microsoft called MSDE, look for the SQL 2000 version as it's a little more straight forward to use with the install direction included with DNN.  There is also a thread somewhere in this forum that walks you through using it.
