Hi Charlie,

I spent the day yesterday making a new Hover type for the CSS NavMenu, which is going to be part of the Skincovered Goodies this month.

I'll be working on it over the next several days to do the kinds of things you are looking for, so if you want to contact me through my forum or directly through the e-mail in my profile here, I'd be happy to make sure that it will also fit your requirements.

Charlie
This how I use it:
<DNN:HOUSEMENU1 id="dnnHOUSEMENU1" runat="server" IsRecursive="True" ShowAdmin="True" Mode="D" Scope="-1" Orientation="H" ShowParent="True"></DNN:HOUSEMENU1>
This should render the whole menu-tree.
(I used it vertically mostly, I don't think the Orientation setting matters)
Next week I have to create a menu that is almost the same as yours, so if you have more questions please post...

By the way, the housemenu runs a javascript to make the hover work for IE 5.5-6.
It adds an "onmouseover" to the LI's in the menu that changes the class to "sfhover"
So you have to define both:
LI:hover and LI.sfhover
