Well isn't this fun ... I'm having the same issue on a perfectly clean install of 4.3.7.  I'd previously done an upgrade from 4.3.3 to 4.3.7 and thought that may have been the issue.  Since this is my development environment I was free to start with a clean environment.  I removed ALL files / folders in my web root and dropped then recreated the db.  Install went fine (no errors) but when I try to log in as either host or admin, I can't.  Passwords should be the defaults of course.  On top of that, I can't even find where the stinkin passwords are stored in the database.  Arrrgh!

I too am having the same problem.  I just upgraded from a fresh 4.3.5 install to 4.3.7.  The only problem I had was that i can't login.

I had reset the admin password of course and that was working fine before the upgrade...now nothing works.  I figured maybe it was reset to the defaults as well but admin/dnnadmin doesn't work either...anyone figure this out yet?

Hi Guys,

I had a few sites to upgrade from 4.3.1 to 4.3.5 and then a couple that just needed a fresh install of 4.3.6 recently. Not all, but some had the same issue that I think you are now having.

Apart from ensuring the machine keys have been copied over correctly with your web.config file changes, the website would work fine for the first xx minutes, then stop all user accounts from logging in... even admin and host accounts.

The only solution was to register as a new user, and then look into the users table in the database, and change the superuser flag to true, for that user. Then when I did log in as that user I could go into both superuser and admin accounts and do the following :

For each user account that you were locked out of, first click the link to "reset password", then you are free to change the password again. This worked for me... hope it helps.

Cheers,
TrevDog.
