Hello everyone

I was looking to use dome font on solpart menu that not everyone might have. So using images instead of text could have been a better way to inplement my design idea. Only one thing is a problem, searched everywhere and couldn't find any topics on how to make solpart menu use images instead of test ( only  for  root menu items)

PLease let me know if you have seen somebody else doing it  or know how to do it .

thank you !

Hi Julia,
Using images instead of text in the SolPart Menu... I have not seen this done, but I saved the URL of a related topic, you might want to look into using the House menu as Timo has done:

Let us know how things turn out.

You may have to scrap the solpart menu and create a static menu.

I am not as good with all this new items installation and afraid that I would not be able to use 2 menus in one ...  so I am afraid to install house menu...

it is at least possible to make the distance between menu items  bigger? I have  searched this forum and tried all the suggestions that were here on how to make the seperetion between menu items through css html and  xml files but nothing works, my menu just doesn't want to use no | as a separator no  image ...  driving me crazy ...

Hey Julia,

I'm familiar with the situation you're dealing with. Unfortunately, I have yet to figure out a way to make it all work. The issue is that DNN / Solpart creates the menu "dynamically", basically adding CSS to HTML marked up text. In the past, I've had to basically create static menus that I have to update manually in order to acheive the clients' desired results. Some times it's been Flash animated menus / intros and others it's been the dreadful "pretty font" disposition. Sadly, by doing it this way you are taking out one of the most handy features of DNN. One workaround I recently did however was to have the "static" navigation on the first page and Solpart on every other. You can see the results here: http://www.parksidepediatrics.com .

Good Luck!
