After updating to 7.3.2 the pages that had property agent module lock or better say bug the specific page and cannot be edited (in admin mode, for just user mode its ok but there is no edit there).

what i mean:

  • The whole page goes like 50px up and a few things from the top hide behine the admin bar.
  • The edit this page button is clickable but it doesnt responde when clicked.
  • The stay in edit mode and view in layout mode dont work and their box becomes white instead of the default grey/black.
  • If i set stay in edit mode from another working page and switch to the broken page, the page have all the edit buttons for modules visible but when clicked they dont respond.

what i noticed is when i set to inspect element in chrome, in the broken pages i get 2 errors.

1. Uncaught typeerror: undefined is not a function  / this is in file jquery.fileupload.js and on the following code line:

  • $.widget('blueimp.fileupload', {

2. Uncaught typeerror: undefined is not a function  / this is in file dnn.jquery.js and on the following code line:

  • $dnndialog = $("
    ").html(opts.text).dialog(opts);

I also made a new test page and when i inserted the module i got the errors again, and i had to go to page management and remove the module in order to be a workable page again.

Thank you for your time

Antonis

Antonis,
I'd upgrade to DNN 7.3.3 and if the error isn't fixed, please contact support at ventrian.com

Was a solution for this ever found? I've been using the Ventrian Property Agent module fairly extensively, but now it is useless.

I've installed the latest version of Property Agent in a fresh DNN 7.4 with the default template, and as soon as it is added to a page, the whole admin interface stops working.

If the Ventrian Property Agent moduel is dead, what is a good alternative with similar functions?
I have tested the Live Article from Mandeeps, but from what I can see so far it appears to be missing some very basic functionality, such as the ability to add more than one picture for a listing.

Ok, a bit more info. I tried this in three different DNN's, using the default theme in all of them.
In 7.3.2 it works fine. In 7.3.4 it's broken and in 7.4.0 it's broken.
