I built a script to send email. When I write the email body here is what it looks like:

Line 1

Line 2

But when I receive it it looks like:
< p>Line 1< /p>
< p>Line 2 < /p>

the full code is posted on stack over flow here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/22084680/send-email-script-sending-message-body-different-from-what-is-entered

I think the problem is in this part of my code:
DotNetNuke.Services.Mail.Mail.SendMail( "Admin@MarltonLakes.com",
txtField.Text, String.Empty,txtField2.Text,
txtField3.Text, String.Empty, "html" , String.Empty,
String.Empty,String.Empty, String.Empty);

WHere it says "html" i think it needs to be changes.... any help is appreicated

You are telling dnn to send the email as mime encoded HTML - as opposed to raw text.
Change "html" to "text" if all you want to do is send raw text.

But having said that - most email IS send as mime encoded HTML these days - so most email programs would see you received markup as valid and display it correctly regarless
