OK - here is what I found based on your input!!

The CoreMessaging_NotificationTypes table is not being populated when a group module is added to a page. I confirmed this on a localhost copy of dnn 6.25 where there are many entries based on moduleid.

In my production version of dnn 6.2.5 both the types and type notifications tables are not being updated by the social group module.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the help!

I would try it from SQL on the DNN Host Console and use this then:

select * from {databaseOwner}.[{objectQualifier}CoreMessaging_NotificationTypes]

this make it be sure that it runs if you use a other SQL database Schema and/or a objectQualifier!

Apologize but not a sql person - is the syntax correct? as the select above gives an error.

Ok so I know that the CoreMessaging_NotificationTypes table is not getting updated when a group module is added to a page.

Can anyone help point me in the right direction on how to diagnose this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
