Good morning,

My DNN site has been upgraded gradually from version 5.X to 6.4 along 2 or 3 years.

When I logon with my username, the number of  messages beside my name on the top right corner is 72. ex. Stephan Bourgeois(72)

When I look at My Inbox in my profile, it shows 114 items on 12 pages of messages and the list display the following message "No records to display.".

I am trying to reset those values to 0.

First, I emptied the tables DNN_CoreMessaging_Messages and DNN_CoreMessaging_MessageRecipients. But the same behavior still exist.

Where could I reset the message count shown in the user profile. Obviousely, the is something wrong with the Core messaging on my DNN site.

Thanks for your help

Stéphan Bourgeois

Good morning,

I spent an hour and a half yesterday evening to try to find what store procedure are used to count the number of unread message (see first picture) and the count of total message (second picture)

I test all the store procedure related to coremessaging and the result is always zero.

I would love that a DNN expert point me to the right place. The total count might be stored in a user table instead of recalculating each time the page is load.

I have clean, empty all the core messaging and legacy messaging tables. The count must be zero for all users.

Thanks

I installed a backup of the site on my local computer and the My Inbox is empty and show 0 messages.

I really don't know what's wrong with the core messaging.
