The file 01.00.01.sqldataprovider is missing in the Store_01.00.01_Source.zip file.  I did this and it worked:

1) Downloaded the Store_01.00.01_Install.zip file AND the Store_01.00.01_Source.zip file.

2) Extract the 01.00.01.sqldataprovider file from Store_01.00.01_Install.zip

3) Add the 01.00.01.sqldataprovider file to the Store_01.00.01_Source.zip file

4) Upgrade using the Store_01.00.01_Source.zip

Thanks for letting me know this way of installing the store module.
I deleted the complete directory on the server.
Then I installed the store module again.
This time the installation went wel.
Next time I wil try the way you did.
