Hi,

I've an 6.02.02 install of DNN and have a really strange issue I simply cannot figure out?!

I'm using IIS6 and have had the site working for months. When you now browser to 'intranet.domain.local' I recieve the notification 'An error has occured. An error has occured' showing the portal banner with a link saying 'return to site'. That redirects you to 'intranet.domain.local/default.aspx' and the page loads?!

On the web server the error is a HTTP 404 - the resource cannot be found.

The default page in IIS is set to be 'default.aspx' in the root. I'm using mixed authentication and can login using both using the 'return to site' link. I've deleted and renewed the App pool. Restarted the Web server. Restored know working copies of the dbase and file system ... yet the error is still there?!

What am I missing?!

Try checking to see if you have a default home page setup in the Site Settings under the Admin menu.

Yup ... that's all been set. I have a test portal to play with the social elements of the recent version and that's doing exactly the same?!

I've even tried deleting the IIS Website and adding it again ... yet it still behaves the same!?
