I have a template that I need to add the Profile Picture from whatever uses posts a message.

Is there a skin object or tag or dynamic url to show the profile picture in HTML module?

Thanks.

You can use the profilepic.ascx handler. You can view the source code here: http://dotnetnuke.codeplex.com/Source...

Basically, you provide three parameters.

  • userid - ID of the user for which to display the profile pic
  • w - maximum display width, in pixels
  • h - maximum display height, in pixels

The handler scales the image proportionally, so if you specify a width and/or height, you are specifying the largest the image will be displayed in that dimension. Here's an example of a URL:

~/profilepic.ascx?userid=8&w=50&h=50

That will display the profile pic for the user with ID 8. The image will be a maximum size of 50 x 50 pixels.
