Hey Guys,

Trying to get my head around how to setup a custom rego page that displays the same module as shown when you access the default registration.aspx page.

In the past we would drop the User and Accounts modules onto the page and delete the elements that we did not want ... leaving the registration page.

If we do this now - we DO get a registration page - BUT its not the same module as the default internal system one - it reverts back to the old registration page which does not support the custom form layout.

Anyone got any suggestions on this.

Westa

Hi Westa

Have you tried looking at

http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Video-Library/Viewer/Video/443/View/Details/Customizing-user-registration-within-DotNetNuke-6-2.aspx

I personally used this prior to 6.2 http://dnnusers.codeplex.com/ but i have not had to do a custom rego since 6.2

Hope this helps
Ed

Yeah ... no ... I know how to set up parameters in the user settings area.

What I'm asking about ... is how to place a the new Rego module on a custom page - and have that Rego module reflect the settings for a custom rego form.

AFAIK there is currently no module definition for this.

Seriously ??? Well that just sucks - you got no idea how much time I've wasted trying to convince myself I was not going crazy.

But it does feel like a pretty big omission - seeing how integral all these new user features are supposed to be to social media implementations.
