as long as you didn't enable content localization in Admin > Languages there should be no problem. please check out Tabs table in the database for pages in portal 0, make sure, the home page tabID is set peroperly in PortalLocalization table and the page is not deleted.

Hello,

In table:

1. Tabs - i have pages - Getting Started, Search Results, User Profile, About Us, etc. again portal 0 and portal 4. So, i think that everything's fine there.

2. PortalLocalization i have 3 rows:

- PortalID 0, CultureCode en-US, PortalName TestWebsite

- PortalID 4, CultureCode en-US, PortalName sitename1

- PortalID 4, CultureCode bg-BG, PortalName sitename1

I support, this mean i gave "Enable Portal Localization" at Admin Level, not Host Level. If that's so, i have a few question:

1. Is there a problem to have different portals/websites in different languages. I mean 1 portal has 2 languages, another has 3 other languages, 3rd has 5 languages etc.?
2. If number1 is not a problem, how to accomplish that?

3. In my situation - how to fix the problem and bring portal 0 to life?

there should be no issue with portal 4 having different languages as long as en-US is default culture for Portal 0, please check in table portals. also make sure, LoginTab etc. do point to valid tab ids.

Everything's fine with portal 4. It has 2 languages and works as expected.

In table Portals i have 2 rows:

1) PortalID 0, ExpiryDate NULL, UserRegistration 2, etc.

1) PortalID 4, ExpiryDate NULL, UserRegistration 2, etc.

Quote:

also make sure, LoginTab etc. do point to valid tab ids.

How to make sure about that?

My default DNN is at: http://localhost/dnn6/ . But when i go there it redirects to: http://localhost/dnn6/Install/Install... and it says:

"The Auto option has been disabled as the DotNetNuke Application cannot connect to a valid SQL Server database. You can continue to use either of the other two Wizard options and configure the Database settings at the appropriate Wizard step."

When i started this topic, it just said: Page cannot be found.

if it gets forwarded to install page, there is an issue with either portal alias or database connection. can you please list all website bindings and all portal aliases here for review, thanks.
