For those who have the issue of profile's redirecting to their profile when they view them (which shows as a threadabort exception in the event viewer) can they please run the following query and post me back the results (replace the portalid with the relevant portal)

select tabid, tabname, parentid,[level],tabpath from {databaseOwner}[{objectQualifier}vw_Tabs] where tabpath like '%ActivityFeed%' or tabpath like '%UserProfile%' and portalid=0

Note: as i've used the databaseOwner and objectQualifer you'll have to run this via host->sql (use the script option)

as a follow up I will also need folks to run the following. The first query checks for the existance of the user profile page -in either it's pre 6.2.0 or 6.2.0 version) and this query checks to see if there is a disconnect between this value and the portal value.

select usertabid from {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}PortalLocalization where portalid=0

Hi Cathal,

tabid tabname parentid level tabpath
715 User Profile NULL 0 //UserProfile

When I ran in Host>Sql as script I got no results, had to take out dbo&ObjQual to get it to report!

Ooh! Curiouser:

usertabid
715
715
715

Would the fact that there are 3 usertabids here be connected to the fact that I have three portals in this instance, all of which have the same rolename?  And would this account for the fact that I have the same user accounts shown 3 times in the member directory?  Does the member directory query not use portalid as a filter?

sorry, forgot to factor in multiple languages

select usertabid,culturecode from {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}PortalLocalization where portalid=0

And I dont know about the memberdirectory, I have not seen it logged as an issue - can you please log it to support.dotnetnuke.com and mention the results of that query as perhaps memberdirectory filters by portalid but not by default locale.

Ah, looking at PortalLocalization, I have three entries for portal 0, one each for CultureCode: blank, en-GB and en-US.

PortalID CultureCode UserTabId
0 715
0 en-GB 715
0 en-US 715
