thanks for posting back on the single quote issue - i've checked and we render the knockout model in server code and did not escape text correctly - i'ved logged this and will ask for it to be fixed for 6.2.1 (http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/V...). I'll also look to see if the biography issue is causing the thread abort and see if the fix for the first fixes the 2nd issue -if not we may need toget a copy of someones site (code and database) to help debug this.

I can confirm avidnn and Steven's finding of incorrect text in a profile field breaking the render - i've update the gemini to contain theworkaround (and copied the text below) - please note, it's not just single quotes, but double quotes and backslashes as well. I will ask for this to be done as part of 6.2.1.

As for the 2nd issue, with the thread exception abort/loading of only the users profile (which is likely the same issue) - i have no further detail, and we will likely need someones site to debug. I will check and make sure it's logged, and bring it up in our triage meeting but for now I can't work on something thats not scheduled (especially when we have 150+ issues already scheduled)

Workaround

as a workaround remove '," or \ from any of the profile fields

To get to your profile click on your username in the user skin object to get to your profile page -this will bring to a page such as http://localhost/dnn621/ActivityFeed/tabid/60/userId/1/Default.aspx

now add ?ctl=profile to invoke profile editing mode e.g.
http://localhost/dnn621/ActivityFeed/tabid/60/userId/1/Default.aspx?ctl=profile
