After the 6.2 upgrade from 6.1.5 the new social modules are not working properly.

The Journal module give a popup up "Not Found" error when trying to share a comment.

The Members Directory module give a "An error has occurred trying to process the request:error" and the Loading... graphic  just spins. No users are shown.

The Social Groups modules gives an error when clicking on the Join button "Not Found"
BTW how does the administrator delete a group?

There are no entries in the Event Viewer.

Any ideas?

all those errors such that the service framework is not working - though i thought we solved that with your earlier thread (http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Forums/forumid/107/threadid/456812/scope/posts/threadpage/2.aspx) . The only other thing that occurs to me is, please double check that the BIN folder has a copy of System.Web.Mvc.dll

That solved my Admin Settings error but not the social module problems. My assemblies now looks like this, exactly like yours except for the lower case public keys:

<assemblies>
        <add assembly="Microsoft.VisualBasic, Version=8.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=B03F5F7F11D50A3A" />
        <add assembly="System.DirectoryServices, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=B03F5F7F11D50A3A" />
        <add assembly="System.Design, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=B03F5F7F11D50A3A" />
        <add assembly="System.Management, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=B03F5F7F11D50A3A" />
        <add assembly="System.Web.Extensions, Version=3.5.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35" />
        <add assembly="System.Core, Version=3.5.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=B77A5C561934E089" />

I checked for the System.Web.Mvd.dll and it's there. I also checked for all of the 6.2 bin files and they are all there. There were no errors on the upload nor were there any errors when the upgrade script ran.

based on your web.config file missing other entries, i say it's probable that something else is needed -try comparing it to release.config with a tool such as beyondcompare (or post it here -minus the database details-and ill look at it)
