Here's a strange request:

I have a menu with a top level called Products (top level). Product Category 1 is a child of Products. Product 1, and Product 2 are both children of Product Category 1. Products and Product Category 1 are both disabled. The only menu items listed above that have pages and are active are Products 1 & 2.

When you hover the mouse over the Products menu item, it highlights as you would expect, and if you click on it, it does nothing, again as you would expect because it's disabled. Now if I hover over Products I also see Product Category 1, and if I hover over Product Category 1, I see the two products pages.

ISSUE: If a user gets all the menus to expand by hovering over them but chooses a menu option that is disabled, the menu defaults back to it's original state (all sub menus disappear) and the user has to re-navigate to the place they were. Is there a way to make the menu NOT disappear a disabled item is clicked?

Thanks,
Steve

this depends on the menu used in the skin of your site, AFAIK what you described is default menu behaviour, but there are a number of other menu components available.

Sebastian,

First, what does AFAIK mean, and also what other components are available? Do you mean other menu modules or other settings I can do to regular default menus?
