My site is sending  new users an email (authentication).   I am using the Users And Roles module on a custom page for register.  The email has the code and goes to the login page. That works GREAT!!!!

However when user hits Register, I would like to send them to a Welcome page, or at least go to home page instead of staying on register page.  Right now it has a button for Proceed to login, but it does NOT work, it just sends them to register page again.

Where can I set the page it goes to when they hit register button?  (naturally assuming they pass field validation)

Let me answer my own question.

Go to Admin page, Security Roles, User Settings and option Redirect after registration.

That is EXACTLY what I was looking for.

What I like about DNN is that it is a mature product and well thought out by lots of people having used and developed it over many years.

It seem and any feature I can think of is probably already there because people before me thought of that need.. 

It is just a matter of finding how to use it.  This forum is such a valuable resouirce to new user like me.

great you found it, and great that you like DNN. You will encounter numerous missing features in the future - but the best: DNN is a platform, you may extend as you need and as you like, using 3rd party and custom modules, providers, skins and other extensions.,,

I can confirm that this is still a problem in 5.6.   After registration, the message:-
An email with your verification code has been sent....

Cancel   Proceed to login

If I hit proceed to login, it redisplays the Registration form.   This was reported in 5.1 (DNN-10743).  
What does Triaged mean in this context (parked?).

I can create a specific page to send the user to, but it's a bit of a drag.
