I was having trouble a few months ago with images not being displayed.  I changed the trust level in my web.config and fixed the issue.  All of a sudden I cannot see my images again.  My site host swears I have full trust on the server.  The image host has not banned me from hot linking.  I cannot figure out the issue!

I have downloaded the store source in hopes to figure out what is going on in the code behind.  It seems to work as expected.
here is the url being generated : src="/DesktopModules/Store/Thumbnail.aspx?IP=http://www.images.sextoysex.com/CNVEF/E11791_1.JPG&IW=90&BC=FFF&CD=2&portalID=0"

Is there anyone versed in using the store that can help?

The site is an adult toy site.  (Im just the developer)  I apologize if it is offensive to anyone.

thanks sooo much!

Hi Joe,

If the website use the full trust mode it should works. Let me have a look at this problem, I will contact you shortly. In the meanwhile, could you tell me if the 'Image Cache' setting is enabled in the Store Catalog settings? Try to disabled it, it could be related.
Don't worry, I'm not offensed by a sextoy (I'm French). ;-)

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Hi Joe,

When I try to open the url of the specifed image (http://www.images.sextoysex.com/CNVEF/E11791_1.JPG) from France, the page cannot be displayed! It's a problem why the source website or the url is wrong, but it's not a problem with the Store module. Why you don't download the required images and place them in the portal folder?

SOLUTION:  I was redirecting my home page to another location.  By doing this it through off the image redirection links being used by the store.

To see why this would occur...
Take a look at your store.  View source... Noitce your image links?  All properties are parsed into the link itself.  Pretty cool huh!  :)
.
A couple of things to note...

1. Make sure your portal aliases are in the proper order (1. www.yourdoman.com, 2. yourdomain.com, 3. ip)  This is an old lesson but should be mentioned as it could throw off the images (and it is one I forgot)

2. Make sure your home page is contained in your DNN portal.

3. One last note:  Your site needs full trust if you are hot linking images.  This is an issue that is being addressed in the latest version.

Thanks for all the support from Gilles and the Store Team!
