Hi

First of all - thank you giles for putting a lot of work into rewriting the paypal module after paypals unannounced change

unfortunately I am getting some error in the cart and minicart efter upgrading.

I tried it on two different servers

one with DNN 5.2  and store .30

other with dnn 5.2.01 and store .28

on both i went into "extensions"  and in the lower right corner o ran the "install extension wizard"

Behaviour are similar on both servers only sites with an existing store gets the error below.  If setting up a store on a site without a previous store it works flawlesslyt

An unexpected error has occurred!
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Invalid character in a Base-64 string. ---> System.FormatException: Invalid character in a Base-64 string. at System.Convert.FromBase64String(String s) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Store.Components.SymmetricHelper.Decrypt(String base64Value) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Store.Cart.CurrentCart.getCartID(Int32 portalID) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Store.Cart.CurrentCart.GetItems(Int32 portalID) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Store.WebControls.CustomerCart.CheckStateButton() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Store.WebControls.CustomerCart.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Web.Util.CalliHelper.EventArgFunctionCaller(IntPtr fp, Object o, Object t, EventArgs e) at System.Web.Util.CalliEventHandlerDelegateProxy.Callback(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Web.UI.Control.OnLoad(EventArgs e) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Store.Components.StoreControlBase.OnLoad(EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Hi,

It's because now the Store module encrypt values stored in the client cookie. Just clear your browser cache, it should works!

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.
