I've create a new provider (so I copied and pasted the default and change all the words and references in the new provider as a foundation) so how do I tell the store to use my provider?

Took me 2 days to get this far (It's far easier to copy the projects and change things in the files than to create new ones -- things get put in odd places)

In worse case I'll just have to modify the Defailt Shipping Provider but that will be a pain to keep updated with future versions...

I'm trying to do the same.  Just working through the project right now.

I'm assuming you have to add a switch.  I'd start by looking at the way the gateway provider is selected.

Hi,

Create a new folder under ...\DesktopModules\Store\Providers\ShippingProviders, like 'MyProvider'. Copy the files from the folder ...\DesktopModules\Store\Providers\ShippingProviders\DefaultShippingProvider. Rename all files starting by Default... with you provider name. Rename all namespaces and references to Default.. by you provider name. Edit and change references from the file DefaultShippingProviderInfo.xml (it should be renamed as YourProviderShippingProviderInfo.xml).

Hi,

Gateway providers have to be created under ...\DesktopModules\Store\Cart\Providers\GatewayProviders\ProviderName and moved by post build commands to the folder ...\DesktopModules\Store\Providers\GatewayProviders\ProviderName. Look at the current providers for samples.
