well....02.01.30 is an improvement at least.

three quick questions:

1) how can i get sub categories to show up? - for example, i have 3 categories and each of them has 3 sub categories. when i create my store menu page, it shows the 3 main categories. if i click on any one of them, i am taken to the catelog page which shows ALL of the products for ALL of the 3 categories all lumped together. isn't there a way to click on category 1 and then see all of it's 3 subcategories and click on one of them and THEN be taken to the catelog page and see only the products for that subcategory?

2) are we "stuck" with the terns "Manufacturer" "Model Number" and "Model Name"? - those are good generic product type attribute names but.....in my case they don't work at all. is there any way to change them? and...when i click on a category and i'm brought to the list of products.....is there any way to change the heading from "Category Products"?

3) i'm doing something fundementally wrong....why is it that when i click "buy now" - i'm taken to my homepage?

Regarding item 3: In the Store Admin module set the Store Account Page to the page containing the Store Admin module. Not sure on item 1 and 2.

users do not have access to the page with the store admin module. so, when i do what you said....now when a user clicks "buy now" they get "access denied"

can't believe this is so difficult

The store Account module and the store Admin module are not the same. The store account module is the shopping cart that users must have access to in order to purchase anything on your site. Section three of this post gives a nice walkthrough that makes setting up the store easy: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/114/threadid/186305/scope/posts/Default.aspx Without it I am sure it would be frustrating.

There is also a nice post on categories: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/114/threadid/345969/scope/posts/Default.aspx I am not sure it covers sub categories which I don't use and I am not familiar with. Hope this helps.
