Hello,

we are trying to use the store to implement payment for a service, let's call it document views. In the store we want to offer several packages, for example:

  • Single document - 3 EUR
  • 3 documents package - 8 EUR
  • 10 documents package - 22 EUR

Payments should be made through PayPal. As soon as the payment is confirmed the number of purchased document views should be added to a custom table. We have developed a custom module which substracts the number of purchased documents by 1 every time a document is viewed.

Which is te best way to accomplish this task? Is there an existing mechanism that we can use or do we have to alter the store source code?

We do not need shipping or billing address input. How can this be disabled / hidden?

We would like the customer to be able to perform a checkout without being logged in, so that a DNN account is automatically created during checkout. Can this be done?

Thanks for any help,

Matthias

OK, I figured out how to accomplish the first question.

I use the StoredProcedures from the store module to iterate through all orders marked as paid and use the order details to update the users' document counters.

The other two questions still remain, though:

We do not need shipping or billing address input. How can this be disabled / hidden?

We would like the customer to be able to perform a checkout without being logged in, so that a DNN account is automatically created during checkout. Can this be done?

Thanks,

Matthias

You need the source code, this cannot be done with the install version.

Thanks very much for your reply. So even for hiding shipping and billing address I will need to change the source code?
