Hi,

when I try to make a payment through PayPal I receive an error from PayPal:

The link you have used to enter the PayPal system contains an incorrectly formatted item amount

I am using DNN 5.1 with store module 2.1.28.

The currency is set to EUR, the Payment URL is https://www.paypal.de/cgi-bin/webscr/ (the default url does not work).

I have tried both US and DE as locale with the same result. The charset is set to UTF-8.

I suppose that PayPal expects a comma as a decimal separator and a point ist sent or the other way round. How can I solve this problem?

Please disregard this message. If found the problem:

I had configured the en-US locale in a way that it uses a comma instead of a point as decimal separator...

You must have a paypal payment standard, not a pro nor a expess checkout

Paypal expects a decimal point, not a comma (paypal documentation).

Have you tried paypal.com instead of paypal.de ? Here in France we use paypal.com, not paypal.fr

You should set german in your paypal admin and EUR on both sides

Thanks for replying. In fact I am using paypal.com I just had pasted this while I was trying .de

Asmentioned I had my en-US locale configured to use a comma on my dev machine, after fixing this it worked fine.
