I downloaded and installed 02.01.26 and the Add to Cart buttons are missing.  There is no way to add an item to the cart.  I reviewed the  Templating Guide but nothing jumped out at me as to how I can fix this issue.

Thank you very much Gilles for all your work and responses to this forum!  I had installed the last released version (not beta) and I was very happy with the results - I just wanted to add the feature that defaults the address to that in the users profile so I tried 02.01.26 but I can't make it work.  Thank you.

Hi Dave,

Now the Add To Cart button is on the product detail page only by default. If you have read the Templating Guide, then you should now than you can modify what you want in the provided templates. Here a short resume to add the Add To Cart button to the Category Product list template:

  1. Go to the Store Admin module
  2. Verify than the 'Portal Templates' setting is checked. Read the Chapter 2 in the Templating Guide for details.
  3. Download the ProductList.htm template file from your Store portal folder
  4. Open the template file with Notepad or another text editor
  5. Now you have two possible solutions:
    1. Replace the [PURCHASEIMG] token by the [ADDTOCARTIMG] token
    2. Add the [ADDTOCARTIMG] token close to the [PURCHASEIMG] token
  6. Save your template
  7. Upload the template file to your web site

The new vesion 02.01.27 has been released today, you should upgrade your web site. Please read this post.

Gilles

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.
