Hi

Please excuse my naiveness on the question as I am trying to find my way around DNN.  Perhaps someone can assist with a little problem I am having.

Running DNN 5.01

I have set up a shop as per the guide on this forum.  Under the store administration, I have 3 shipping options.  Collect (free), Courier and postage with min and max weights as price.

I have added some products with weight and dimensions.

I did a test order but for some reason, it is not pulling the cost of the shipping to the invoice.

Would anyone know off hand what is wrong?

Hi Tanya,

First, you should use the last version available at Codeplex.

Concerning the shipping price, you can't have different types of shipping like Collect, Courrier and Postage! The current shipping provider is used to define ranges of weight for a price. As a sample, you could define the shipping prices like this based on the total weight of the content cart:

Description Min. Weight Max. Weight Price
Range1 0 10 5
Range2 11 30 12
Range3 31 100 40

Because the Store module is provider based, anyone having a strong knowledge with ASP.NET, C# and DotNetNuke developement can create his own shipping provider with his own rules.

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.
