I don't see this option anywhere...

Is it possible to do it???

I don't mean the reminder's I want users to recieve and email for every event created and they can not cahnge this!

This site creates regular event's for parties, users must recieve and e-mail everytime a event is created, and of course the reminder too!

Thanks in advance

It's not possible to do this with the Core module, but tools like OpenWebStudio will let you develop this yourself and run it as a part of the DNN scheduled tasks.

If this this something you must have, I can only think a little time invested learning a tool like that... or having someone build it custom for you... might be the only real option. There might otherwise be some sort of RSS feed notification tool, though I'm not aware of any.

Having subscriptions to Events listings could be a handy feature though!

Hi David,

With version 5.0.2 you can enable subscription to a calendar, so that when a new event is added an email is sent out to anyone who is subscribed. Each user must subscribe individually, or potentially you could write a database trigger that subscribes the user whenever a new user is created.

The setting is 'Allow Subscriptions' in module settings.

Cheers
Roger

 Hello Both...

In fact after a few minutes i did thing about the subscription thing... I just don't know how exactly would I turn that process automatically... and honestly, the module it self should have an options to subscribe all registered users, or all admins etc ... and not just one by one!

Anyway, I've explore OWS, followed some video tutorials... at least i got past trough the "Hello World" lol! Its a great tool.... I will consider both options!

This events are for parties, and all users are invited, so they should receive an email every-time a party event is created, and I believe many DNN users may have the same problem I have, or maybe I'm just to much used to Outlook and the Select all thing :D

Could I had this as an improvement anywhere?

Hi Miguel,

Please post this request on Gemini. The summary details on how to do this are in my signature.

Cheers
