Hi, I love this module... but I live in the 3rd world, and we cannot use paypal or authorize.net. Nevertheless I got a gateway which claims to accept authorize.net "parameters and handling", so I was HAPPY! It's called www.2checkout.com .

Changes in the configuration page are:

  • The Authorize.net URL (which is obvious) https://www.2checkout.com/2co/buyer/purchase ,
  • The x_login now will be my account number with 2checkout (I guess is the "API login ID".

They do not say anything about Transaction key, so I've typed there again my account number.

BUT, when I try to do the checkout, an error appears telling: "Page is not secured with SSL, you cannot use Authorize.net without SSL".

Is that an easy thing to be fixed? I guess the module is angry because it expected the page of Authorize.net and not the 2checkout.

Thanks for your answer!

Hi Adrian,

I can't find a complete doc about 2CO, then I can't confirm if they are really compatible with Authorize! The message you receive is about the lack of an SSL certificate installed at your web site. To use Authorize, a valid SSL certificate is required and the setting 'Force SSL at checkout' must be checked in the Store Account module settings.

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Hi dear Gilles..

I'll try to set up an SSL in my site and test it.

I talked to the guys at www.2checkout.com and they told me my account was not accepting payments yet because thay have to verify some sort of things. Well, the point is this would be also the reason why my transactions failed. I'm working in the fulfilment of those requirements to try again.

Thanks for your answer. Didn't know the SSL requirement.

That "store module" definitely rocks! ;)

Hi Adrian

I am also interested in using 2checkout. Since I am situated in Africa. Did you manage to sort out all the problems? Is 2checkout a viable option?

Regards

Johan
