Hi,

It seems like you have a problem with your site, rather than with the Events module. Have you tried installing another module, do you get the same issue?

I currently have this exact same problem on 2 different hosts, both are running DNN 5.2.2 when attempting to update/install the Events module 5.0.3.

A critical error has occurred.
Could not find a part of the path 'C:\inetpub\wwwroot\dnn\Website\Install\Temp\dmej3hho\DNN_Events.dnn'.

I then subsequently re-install (ticking the "repair" option) and it seems to install successfully, however, something is still wrong.

The "Events" module is no longer available in drop-down list of modules in the control panel. I have to go to Host->Module Defs->Edit Extension. There, it shows up in the list of assigned portals (although it just says "PortalName" rather than the correct portal name). If I move it from "Assigned" to "Available", then back again, then forcibly update, the Events module now reappear available for use in the portal.

The only thing I can think of is that the Events module uses an old version of the .DNN file, since it still needs to support DNN 5.x, but I can't see why it doesn't find the .DNN file. Whe you get the install error, maybe you could look in the temp directory, and say whether it is visible there.
