The templates in the event module provide some control of the language used. I am looking for some of the (what looks like) fixed text. Specifically (for example) if someone has enrolled, the detail display will list the enrollee's headed by the heading "Enrolled Users". Can this text be edited somewhere? I looked in languages but could not find anything.

Regards

Hi Hans,

That text should be configurable through the standard DNN Languages dialogue. If it doesn't appear in the template, which I don't think 'Enrolled Users' does, then it should be localisable.

At the moment, the templates themselves are localisable, or at least only support one language per model instance. So the text shown in the template is what appears on the screen or in an email. Also the Event Description or anything you have entered as part of the event itself is not localisable.

You can configure the localisable elements in Admin\Languages. Then select Local Resouces\DesktopModules\Events\App_LocalResource and the appropriate resource file.

Cheers
Roger

Hi Roger

Local Resouces\DesktopModules\Events\App_LocalResource does not exist in my admin\languages. Local Resouces\DesktopModules is there, but no Events subcategory. (Am running 5.0.1 release)

Regards

Hans

Hi Hans,

You can look in the file system to see if Events is there, but otherwise it is a bug with DNN not the Events module. If you are running Events 5.0.1 and have not changed it in anyway, there will be an Events directory under DesktopModules, with a App_LocalResource under that. Beyond that I'm afraid I cannot help, the App_LocalResource diectory is where the resx files are stored that are edited via the language editor.

Cheers
Roger
