I have tried to use the [event:signupUsername] in several of the template bodies. It does not seem to work. If it should, is there a test that can be made to determine if anyone is enrolled?

Hi Hans,

signupusername (I think this is case sensitive) is only available in items which relate to a user who is enrolling to an event. I think that currently this limits it to enrollment emails, since that is the only thing which is specific to user enrollment. In any other situation it could relate to multiple users, but we haven't added that functionality since the other places where user enrollments are show are not templated.

You should see it in the the approved and denied suffix templates, which are sent when a user is approved or denied enrollment to an event.

Hope this is clear.

Roger

Hi Roger;

THanks. It's clear although too bad. I wanted to use it when moderators or owners are notified that an enrollment has been made.

Regards

Hans

In theory it should work. If you can let me know which template name you have tried to include it in, I'll check if it should work there.

Used them in 'Moderate/Enroll Email Action Required - Body' and 'Moderate/Enrol Email APprove/Deny - Body'. as both of these notify the owner or moderator that someone has enrolled. We only use single user enrollments, so even if only the first of the enrollees was returned, things would be fine. However, I understand that that would not be a very general solution. Also, it seens that the [event:lastupdateddate] value in these same templates also does not show the date that the enrollment was made (even though that is the last change date).

Regards

Hans
