I have a small problem I need some help with.  DNN version 5.1.2. (recent upgrade)

The thumbnail path for my skin previews is wrong.
The expected path should be http://server.nac.net/portals/_default/skins/dnn-blue/horizontal%20menu%20-%20fixed%20width.jpg
The path DNN is using is  http://server.nac.net/portals/portals/_default/skins/dnn-blue/thumbnail_horizontal%20menu%20-%20fixed%20width.jpg

Wanted to add this important detail.   This appears to be only the display of the thumbnail.

  • If I right click where the thumbnail should be and select properties I see the incorrect path name.
  • If I right click and select Open or Open in new window it works.  The image opens with the correct path.
  • If I right click and select Copy Shortcut, it copies the correct path.

I have poked around the DB and a few files but I haven't found where this path is stored so I can correct it.
Thanks...

AFAIK this isn't ever stored in the database.  The system looks for a file named thumbnail_{SkinName}.jpg and if it exists, displays it.
