I am very new to this forum and This is my first post over here.

I have an query regarding DNN Site hosting on Our server. I need your help.

I have Three Portal in One DNN Application

PortalA
PortalB
PortalC

In our development Server, We are accessing those Portal as,

http://Dev.Mydomain.com/PortalA
http://Dev.Mydomain.com/PortalB
http://Dev.Mydomain.com/PortalC

We have access all the module like

http://Dev.Mydomain.com/PortalA/Default.aspx?tabid=44

Now, We want to move it another server, where our domin name should be like this

http://PortalA.Mydomain.com/
http://PortalB.Mydomain.com/
http://PortalC.Mydomain.com/

And the module is going to access as for example,

http://PortalA.Mydomain.com/Default.aspx?tabid=44


Is it possible ? if yes then does it impact in any designing ? As all virtual directly will physically referenced to same folder.

yes, simply add the new address as portal alias before transferring to the new server.

Note: some images and file links may need to be adopted, because they are stored server relative any you are modifying relative address.

add the portal alisas in the exisiting domain and once the domain alisis are active then you will redirect your domain with new name it works fine

I have tested the same think is my local dev system

my site url some thing like.

http://localhost/myportal/Default.aspx?tabid=232;

I created a domain name [DNS HOST ENRTY]  > myportal.localhost.com 

I created a web site [ Not Virtual Directory ] on IIS 6  with name myportal.localhost.com and Located the Physical Dir to myPortal Folder.

Now, I am able to access it using 

http://myportal.localhost.com/myportal/default.apx?tabid=232.

 

But I dont want myportal over here. it should be http://myportal.localhost.com/default.apx?tabid=232.

I have tired as you suggested, but its redirect me to http://localhost/myportalRoot Folder.

 

Please help.

But what about child folder name. means 

it would accessable by

http://mynewdomin/default.aspx?tabid=232

or 

http://mynewdomain/portal/default.aspx?tabid=232

I want the first url. Is it possible in DNN. As I have multiple portal in a single solution.
