 Hello,

After spending several evenings on trying to get "Remember Login" to work i hope anyone of you can help me out of the fire.

I've a DotNetNuke website which is being host on an external webhosting provider, where i got FTP and Plex rights. In the root portal the Remember Login is working fine but the cookie for the child portal somehow doesn't contain the correct information. I don't know how the cookie system works else i would had try to figure out what is the cause of this.

http://www.webfabrikant.nl/dotnetnuke <-- root portal
http://www.piaggio-mp3.com <-- child portal as alias going to http://www.webfabrikant.nl which redirects to http://www.webfabrikant.nl/dotnetnuke after condition is met.

Please help, any suggestion is welcome ;)

Greetings,
Raymond de Jong

I finally solved the problem after searching this forum and just trying things.
The strange thing is that it was working on the root portal without this adjustment.

I had to add in the web.config a 10 days timeout:
<add key="PersistentCookieTimeout" value="17400" />
