There is a bug in DNN 5.1.0 which causes this - http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx?id=10302&PROJID=2 - it is fixed in DNN 5.1.1.

Cheers
Roger

Events Module 5.1.5 - I see a similiar problem with attempting to grant registered users access to add an event, without having access to Events Module Settings.  Trying to give registered users Events Moderator but not Events Module access.  I want registered users to be able to add an event, but not change settings for the module, etc.  Although it's probably user error on my part, I have fiddled ridiculously long with this trying to achieve the desired outcome.  (Still unsuccessfully, at this point).

Any help, direction appreciated.

Unfortunately the bug mentioned above with regard DNN 5.1.0 was re-intorduced with DNN 5.6.0. I assume you are on one of thise two versions. The 5.6.0 version will be fixed with DNN 5.6.1 which I think is due soon.

Yes, we're on DNN 05.06.00 (459).  I will be on the lookout for the upgrade when it is released.  Thanks for the quick response.

Roger-

Upgraded over the weekend to 05.06.01 and can confirm it seems to be working as it should now.  Thanks!!
