Dear Mr.Roger,

I am sorry to ask you the following but it helps me and the other DNN sites.

We are developing a website for www.medhaindia.com and we have the following issues to be made. We tried a lot with our knowledge and couldn't able to sort the following finally.

We request you to kindly help us in this regard. Please visit the website.

===================================

1. Main menu links (About, Products, Careers and Support) should be disabled. They are currently linked to one of the pages in their respective branches. When visitor clicks on the above said menu items it showuld not go anywhere. In DNN we have 4 link types. This kind of features we can't find anywhere i hope.

2. Campus Recruitment Calendar – Use Date/Month/Year format in the display box so that we follow the Indian date format.

http://www.medhaindia.com/Careers/CampusRecruitments/CampusRecruitmentCalendar/tabid/197/Default.aspx

3. Campus Recruitment Calendar - Add additional space between “Today” and “View Date”.

4. Sitemap – Careers is listed after Support. It should be in this order – Home, About, Products, Careers, Support, News. Move the content of the page a little to the right.

We are using DNNsitemap module in the page http://www.medhaindia.com/Support/ContactUs/Sitemap/tabid/196/Default.aspx

5. News pages – If a news article has more than one page, all pages should be uploaded to the website. Upload all pages of ‘Medha Servo gears up for global railways’ article. Add ">>" to go to the next page of the same article and "<<" to go to the previous page of the same article.

======================

Kindly help us in this regard.

Regards

Venkat

Hi Venkat,

2 - You need to install an appropriate language via Host/Languages. The default US gives dates in format mm/dd/yyyy. If there isn't a specific one for India, you can use UK which has dates in dd/mm/yyyy format. You then need to set the default language in Admin/Site Settings, and updates users profiles.

3 - You can add the extra space by editing the appropriate .ascx files, e.g. EventMonth.ascx

The other items are outside the scope of support of this forum. I would suggest you post in the Configure It forum.

Cheers
Roger

Hi Venkat,

As stated in my previous post, you need to update the profile of all the users to show their default language as UK. This can be done by clicking on Manage Profile when editing a user.

I thought you only wanted an extra space. I assume you just added an ' ' in the appropriate place? I would suggest using something like notepad to edit teh file, rather than Expression Web or the like.

Roger
