Hi ,

I like to know about the following,

The site will contain the calender given by the dotnetnuke's Event module. Actually in that calender it is nagivating to the same page, by replacing that calender by the description of that event.

But my requirement is to create a many new events in calender, when the event is clicked it should load to a new page contain the description of the event & some other related thing to that particular event.

The main requirement is to have the registration for every Event.

Can we create a site with this requirement with dotnetnuke

Please reply me, i am waiting for your reply.

Hi,

The impression you give here is that you want to be able to combine information from within the Events module (Description, etc), with content outside the module, plus a registration link.

In version 5.0.1 a feature was added that allows you to link to a specific URL when your click on an event in the views. In theory you could:-

  • Create a page with the content you want on it.
  • Use the reports module to extract data (description, etc) to display
  • Use the registration module mentioned above to add the registration link

Not sure how scalable it will be for a large number of events.

Cheers
Roger
