Hi,

Please can anyone tell me if DNN5 allows you to maintain site content in multiple languages? I know the localization framework allows you to localize the site's static content, but I mean dynamic content, entered through the CMS.

I would really appreciate if someone could point me to some information on DNN5.

DNN 5.0 does not contain additional support for multilingual sites.

This features has been announced for later versions.

It would be really helpful if there was more information available about what's on the roadmap to help make strategic decisions. The current roadmap page is out of date. Can you point me to any information that is available. Multi-language sites is a must for European clients.

Paul,

ML ist definately a need for Europeans, 4 out of 5 of the current ML addons I know of are made by Europeans and in February, dnn-Europe.net the European Network of DotNetNuke Professionals did a 2-day workshop how on ML implementation in the core shall look like and we will follow up on this subject in our next meeting in June, so I am pretty sure, this will be finished in 2009.

Regarding the roadmap, AFAIK the feature list for DNN 5.1 is planned to be published this week, feature sets for subsequent versions will be published later.

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold
