Hi Gilles and Jan and others :-)

When I view the table store_cartitems, there are a lot of experied items.
From time to time I delete all these not bought/test items.
I use these sql commands (provided by Gilles)

remove cart items older then 3 days
DELETE FROM {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}Store_CartItems WHERE DateCreated < DATEADD(day, -3, GETDATE())
remove cart older then 3 days
DELETE FROM {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}Store_Cart WHERE DateCreated < DATEADD(day, -3, GETDATE())

Is there a way, when the item is not more in the cart of the customer, to delete these items by the store itself?

With regards, Ton Hermes

Hi Ton,

Those lines remain in the tables when a visitor leave the web site with items in his cart. The Store module can't remove automaticaly the remaining items. Because, the web site can't receive something like a 'callback' when the browser is closed or when the visitor leave your web site. This is why I suggest to use this two SQL commands. In a future version I will add a dnn scheduler procedure to clean those tables on a regular basis defined by the store admin.
