Hi I am jsut starting to use this event module and think it may be exactly what I need. I just have one question. Is there a way to change the view of an event if enrollment is still available (not full), so that the user does not have to open the event to find out. I am using this as a scheduler for a call center and there are many events/timeslots available to book. It becomes quite a chore to have to open each one to find out if it is even available for enrollment. I have seen some other solutions such as show register button on mouse over,  but I like the potential and support for this event calendar. What I would be interested in is the color of the event change depending on if enrollement is full.

Any thoughts?

This is something I would be willing to pay for if anyone knows what it would take to do it.

Thanks

Shawn

Hi Shawn,

What you want to do is certainly possible (most things are possible), but it would require a code change. I think it would be possible to show an icon if an event is not fully enrolled. 4.1.x shows an icon if an event can be enrolled to, so it would be possible to change the icon if the event is fully enrolled.

Could you raise this as a request on Gemini, and we'll see how easy it is to do.

Cheers
Roger

Thanks,

I saw that you approved this enhancement in the 5.0 version. just wondering if you have any sort of date on when that will be available. I am in need of this ASAP and an ETA would be very handy. I dont know if you could give me the code to scab into a current version. Just trying to get an idea on this.

Thanks again,

Shawn

Hi Shawn,

The code change builds on changes in the 4.1.2 RC3 release. Depending on Ernst Peter's commitments we expect to have a new RC in the next week, which would include this change. Please don't hold me to that timeline!!!

If you are desperate for it quicker than that, you can always download RC3, and I can give the code. There are still some bugs in RC3 though, so you maybe better waiting a few days.

Cheers
Roger
