I just started working with this calendar yesterday and so far so good. You guys have done an excellent job.

I have a community calendar that I'd like to display in 'Calendar' view on my events page and in a simple 'List' view on my homepage. I can't seem to get that to work. Whenever I change the view of the calendar on one page it changes it on the other. Is there a way to create maybe an instance of the calendar or something? Maybe 'instance' isn't the right word.

Thanks so much!

Hi Jim,

I guess you have copied (or whatever the term is) the instance from one page to the other. Instead of doing this, install two seperate instances of the module then use the subcalendar settings to show the content of one within the other.

Cheers
Roger

Hi Roger,

Building on this same question.. I've installed the two events components and set the subcalendar to show the information in the new view...

Now... Can I filter the view and only show event entries where the "Importance" is set to "High"?

Hi Kevin,

No this isn't possible with the module currently. I think someone has requested this as an add-on module for a future, though I can't guarantee when or if this will get done. With the 4.1.x releases we have introduced an RSS feed, which would enable you to filter and present this type of data using appropriate xslt transformation. I'm not an expert on this, so you'd have to get advice on how to do this from Ernst Peter I suspect.

Cheers
Roger
