There's actually an icon on the editor button bar that displays the version - look for the question mark on the bottom row, right-mist icon.

It looks like a help icon so you probably pass right over it.

I show version 2.6.3 Build 19836 on a DNN over here.

Hi John,

Dario posted a fix for this recently, it's because the FCK Editor is putting "<p>&#160;</p>" in the summary field and you need to set

FCKConfig.FillEmptyBlocks    = false ;

This setting can be found in:

  1. One here: [dnnroot]\Providers\HtmlEditorProviders\Fck\FCKeditor\fckconfig.js
  2. One here: [dnnroot]\Providers\HtmlEditorProviders\Fck\Custom\fckconfig.js
  3. And the last here: [dnnroot]\Providers\HtmlEditorProviders\Fck\FCKeditor\editor\_source\internals\fckconfig.js

but I only found it in the first two places .

You should then clear your cache, and you will have to revisit those posts to clear out the empty paragraphs and re-post them

hth

Barry
