Hi,

My website currently has about 400 subportals, and I notice that it now takes forever for a skin to be applied to a subportal from the "Skin" tab. My question is: when clicking "Apply" in the "Skin" tab, what methods are called and which of them might cause this issue?

Thanks in advance.

What should happen is the Skin property to be set in Portals table and the portal settings to be reloaded. What happens depends on the DotNetNuke version you are running, I remember, there had been a couple of optimisations in the past to avoid unnecessary reloading of tab collections etc.
