Hello,

I have a weird issue with the DNN search engine. We're currently running DNN 04.08

The case is as follows: We've moved the physical location of our DNN to a new server. Installation has been going well except for a few things like the search. It now does NOT display any result - reindexing content and misc interface changes does not change anything. Anyone seen a similar problem or know about it?

Appreciate your reply!

check the search indexer tables, if there is any content included.

Thanks!

These tables are populated but possibly somewhere on the transation from one server to the other it got corrupted.
However I found out how to clean the search tables using simple SQL and then reindex the search content.

delete {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}SearchItemWordPosition
delete {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}SearchItemWord
delete {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}SearchWord
delete {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}SearchItem
