Hello All!! I just installed DNN 4 on a Windows 2000 Server box running IIS, .NET 2, and SQL Server 2000. The installation

seemed to go perfectly and I can get to the main page. However, when I try to click on any link I get a page not found error.

Here is the URL for the home page:

http://localhost/dnn

and here is the URL for one of the linked pages:

http://localhost/dnn/Home/tabid/36/Default.aspx

Notice that the difference is all that "/Home/tabid" stuff. Somehow this URL is not resolving. I checked on my local hard disk

and there is no directory called Home so I am assuming this is some kind of virtual directory.

Any help/ideas/suggestions you might have would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

In IIS you should be able to locate a setting for "check if file exists" it will be under the ISAPI settings I believe (look for the aspx extension) and make sure to turn it off. The URLs are handled dynamically with the DNN url handlers, if IIS though is checking to see if the files exist it won't work, as you're seeing.
